Natalie Bramlett
Natalie is a senior majoring in Political Science and minoring in Peace and Justice, with a concentration in refugee crises and authoritarian conflict in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

In the summer of 2022, Natalie interned at InterAction (an alliance of international humanitarian and development NGOs) with the support of the Wellesley-in-Washington internship, where she assisted InterAction’s U.S. humanitarian policy coordination and advocacy efforts, conducted research on axes of conflict and humanitarian crises in the Sahel region and Somalia, and contributed to the planning and execution of coalition events and forums. At the same time, she wrote and published an analysis paper linking the current global hunger crisis to the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Natalie has previous experience in international development, having worked in the water and sanitation (WASH) sector as an acting program manager of an NGO specializing in compost toilet systems in Kampala, Uganda. She is currently studying abroad in Amman, Jordan to attain a working proficiency in Arabic (MSA and Jordanian dialect). Natalie is looking forward to furthering a career in conflict analysis and the protection of civilians/human rights in armed conflict.
