Sasha Blachman ’21

Sasha Blachman
Sasha is a senior majoring in Political Science with a concentration in International Relations.

Since the summer of 2018, she has worked as a research assistant to Professor Jennifer Chudy in the Department of Political Science at Wellesley. Their ongoing collaboration includes conducting and analyzing interviews with anti-racist activists in the United States. In the fall of 2019, Sasha studied abroad in Geneva, Switzerland at the Graduate Institute for International and Development Studies, engaging with UN professionals and U.S. Foreign Service Officers to learn from their personal and professional experiences. On campus, she is a former coxswain on the varsity crew team. After graduation, Sasha plans to pursue a graduate degree in security studies and a career in public service in international relations in Washington D.C.
