Temantimandze Shongwe
Temantimandze is a senior majoring in Economics and French Cultural Studies.

She is a Karl E Case Fellow of Economics providing research assistance to Professor Abeberese whose research focusses on firm behavior in developing countries. She spent a summer interning for World Vision Southern Africa supporting the Regional Director for Humanitarian and Emergency Affairs on various projects including the evaluation of World Vision’s El-Niño Emergency Response and a systematic review on disaster resilience in Southern Africa. She spent a semester in Aix-en-Provence, France where she took Economics classes at Sciences Po - Aix and African History classes at Aix-Marseille Université. She is fluent in SiSwati (her native language) and English and has working proficiency in French. Temantimandze is passionate about enhancing the standard and quality of life for peoples of Southern Africa and so she hopes to some day work towards increasing regional integration to aid in achieving sustained economic growth and development for countries in the region.
