Media Arts & Sciences Student Portfolios
Requirement: Students must create and present an online portfolio by the end of the Fall semester of their senior year. The website must showcase work that you have created over your time at Wellesley. The website should be expressive of your work, but also able to provide a good foundation for showing off any future work. Portfolios should include an "about" section and/or artist statement (if applicable), as well as a CV and other professional information. Additionally you should include a page for each individual work you want to highlight, with detailed descriptions.
Minimum requirements:
- an "about" section or personal statement
- contact information or resume/CV
- individual pages or sections for each piece of highlighted work
- meets general usability criteria:
a. Learnable - can the user easily learn how to navigate your website?
b. Memorable - is it easy to remember once learned?
c. Efficient - low loading time, can the user find what they are looking for quickly?
d. Little to no errors in functionality
e. Satisfying - how enjoyable is it for a user to visit your website?
