As the Director for Employer Engagement, Kate Rettstadt is excited to help employers gain access to talented Wellesley students and graduates, and support their recruitment efforts on campus. Prior to Wellesley, Kate worked in Employer Relations at Tufts University and Simmons University. She is excited to have the opportunity to return to work at a women's institution. Before entering the field of Career Education, Kate worked for a study abroad company building relationships with universities in the mid-atlantic region of the United States. She got her start working in higher education at Harvard University, where she coached international students from Latin America through the graduate admissions process. She holds a B.A. in Spanish from Ursinus College and a Master's degree in Museum Studies from Harvard University Extension School. Outside of work, Kate is passionate about art, education, travel, skiing, salsa dancing, and speaking Spanish whenever possible.
