The Wilson Lecture: Vice President Al Gore

April 25, 5:30 pm

Wellesley is honored to welcome Vice President Al Gore to campus on April 25 as the 2018 Wilson Speaker. This annual event brings internationally influential speakers to campus and is the College’s premier academic lecture.

The global leader in the fight to halt climate change, Gore will engage in a wide-ranging, candid conversation with Wellesley College Trustee Sue Wagner ’82 before answering questions from the community. This year’s event provides a unique opportunity for Wellesley to hear from Gore, today’s most respected, most committed voice in the ever-growing environmental movement. Gore and Wagner, who are friends and colleagues, will discuss, with candor and conviction, what is at stake for us all.
