The Office of the Registrar supports the education of students and protects the integrity of the Wellesley College degree.
We maintain accurate records of enrollment and diplomas; grant access to student records (in compliance with the federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974); and manage course registration, transfer credits, applications for departmental honors, and confirmation that graduating seniors have completed all requirements.
We gather and distribute information, such as exam schedules, class lists, and the grading policy.
We work with alums wishing to complete an unfinished degree and eligible non-students who want to audit a class.
Inherent in the effectiveness of our office is a commitment to objectivity and equity, with the understanding that there is an obligation to communicate information accurately and effectively.
