Study abroad
Our study abroad programs cross all disciplines, offering rich experiences that can transform you. Immerse yourself in a foreign language, conduct field research, or see your discipline from a different perspective. Study at a major research university, live in an urban setting, or experience a culture that is radically different from your own. You can select from more than 180 pre-approved programs spanning 70 countries in every world region, and with courses in every subject offered at Wellesley—the choices are yours. If you enroll in fall, spring or full year credit-bearing study abroad programs, you pay regular Wellesley tuition and remain eligible for Wellesley financial aid.
Exchange programs
We offer an exchange program with Spelman College, a historically Black college for women in Atlanta. Wellesley is also a member of the 12-College Exchange Program along with: Amherst, Bowdoin, Connecticut College (including a semester at the National Theater Institute), Dartmouth, Mount Holyoke, Smith, Trinity, Vassar, Wesleyan, Wheaton, and Williams-Mystic Seaport Program in Maritime Studies (one semester).
Five-year degree programs are also available. Study in Switzerland at the Geneva Graduate Institute or earn a B.A. or B.S. plus a master of arts in international economics and finance through a joint degree program offered through Brandeis.
