Immigrant Justice Corps Community Fellowships - direct application deadline
Eligible: applicants must be eligible for work authorization in the U.S. for the full two years of the fellowship (DACA recipients are welcome to apply to Immigrant Justice Corps, and comprise a significant percentage of the Fellows named each year). They must speak another language in addition to English (languages in highest demand are Spanish, Arabic, Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Haitian Creole, and French). You may apply as a college senior or during the year after graduation (in spring 2023, members of the classes of 2021, 2022, and 2023 are eligible to apply).
Each year Immigrant Justice Corps awards two-year Community Fellowships to exceptional seniors and recent college graduates with the linguistic skills, passion, and cultural competency to work with diverse immigrant communities. The Olga May Wong Memorial Public Service Scholarship Fund supports Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander college students with an unpaid internship at a government office in the US (federally or locally) with a $2,000 scholarship. A generous gift from the Jerome A. Schiff Charitable Trust allows Wellesley to support students pursuing independent research projects through the senior Honors thesis program.
