NIH Undergraduate Scholarship Program - direct application deadline

Eligible: undergraduate students who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents who have ‘exceptional financial need,’ as certified by the student’s undergraduate institution’s financial aid office.

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Undergraduate Scholarship Program (UGSP) offers competitive scholarships to students from disadvantaged backgrounds who are committed to careers in biomedical, behavioral, and social science health-related research. The program offers scholarship support, paid research training at the NIH during the summer, and paid employment and training at the NIH after graduation.

Albright Institute Fellowships - application deadline

Eligible: current sophomores and juniors at Wellesley (i.e. members of the class of 2024 and 2025) from any country.

Samvid Scholars - direct application deadline

Eligibility: applicants must be U.S. citizens or DACA recipients with an undergraduate GPA of 3.5 or higher and planning to begin a full-time eligible degree program at a U.S. university in the academic year following application. Eligible degree programs are 2 years or longer, and one of the following: MD, MBA, JD, MPP/MPA, MPH, MS/MA in the social sciences or STEM. (PhD programs are not eligible.)

Wellesley College Art Department Mary Clothier Slade Summer Fellowship - direct application deadline

Eligible: Rising sophomore, junior, and senior Art History and Studio majors and minors of any nationality.

The Slade Summer Fellowships provide financial aid for current Wellesley students to pursue educational opportunities in the summer months. A committee of Art Department faculty will name one recipient in Art History and one in Studio Art this year, based on merit and need; fellowships will be approximately $2,000 each.

Roosevelt Institute Emerging Fellowship - direct application deadline

Full time undergraduate students in the last one to two years of degree program; Have at least one more semester left in your undergraduate degree program for the 2023-2024 academic year; Have already engaged with policy research through your academic program, extracurriculars, or professional experience; Can commit to a part-time opportunity that spans June 2023 through April 2024 Will be located within the United States for the duration of the fellowship experience (June 2023 – April 2024); Have the capacity to dedicate two to three hours every week during the summer, and two hours once a month during the academic year, to real-time, virtual training sessions.
