Eligible: undergraduate students who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents who have ‘exceptional financial need,’ as certified by the student’s undergraduate institution’s financial aid office.
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Undergraduate Scholarship Program (UGSP) offers competitive scholarships to students from disadvantaged backgrounds who are committed to careers in biomedical, behavioral, and social science health-related research. The program offers scholarship support, paid research training at the NIH during the summer, and paid employment and training at the NIH after graduation.

Albright Institute Fellowships - application deadline
Eligible: current sophomores and juniors at Wellesley (i.e. members of the class of 2024 and 2025) from any country.
Approximately 40 Wellesley students are chosen from across the majors and disciplines to participate in the Fellowship, which consists of a 3 week Wintersession and a global internship, each year (students apply during the spring semester for acceptance to the following January’s incoming class; thus, at the time of their applications, students will generally be second semester sophomores or second semester juniors). Wellesley College Art Department Mary Clothier Slade Summer Fellowship - direct application deadline
Eligible: Rising sophomore, junior, and senior Art History and Studio majors and minors of any nationality.
The Slade Summer Fellowships provide financial aid for current Wellesley students to pursue educational opportunities in the summer months. A committee of Art Department faculty will name one recipient in Art History and one in Studio Art this year, based on merit and need; fellowships will be approximately $2,000 each.
Venture for America - early fall direct application deadline
Eligible: graduates from the classes of 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 who are U.S. citizens, permanent residents, DACA recipients, OR hold other work authorization that is valid through June 2025.
Venture For America prepares recent college graduates for careers as entrepreneurs. As a Fellow, you’ll gain business skills and professional development at our intensive Training Camp. For two years, you’ll work at a startup in a full-time salaried position, learning how to build and grow a business firsthand. From there, you’ll be ready to be a leader in business or launch one of your own.
