The Luce Scholars Program was launched by the Henry Luce Foundation in 1974 to enhance the understanding of Asia among potential leaders in American society. A generous gift from the Jerome A. Eligible: juniors in the fields of the arts, humanities, or social sciences who are U.S. citizens or United States nationals from American Samoa or the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.
