2024 Thesis & Senior Exhibition Opening

Join the Art Department for a reception celebrating the opening of the 2024 Thesis and Senior Exhibition! Graduating seniors in more than a dozen different majors will be exhibiting their artwork in the Jewett Art Gallery, Jewett Sculpture Court, Jewett Hallway Galleries, and adjacent exhibition spaces. The work on display this year ranges widely in medium: drawing, painting, sculpture, and traditional printmaking practices share space with video, digital photography, and new media works. The diversity of the art echoes the diverse voices and visions of the student artists who created it, and the Art Department is thrilled to be able to share this work with everyone.

This exhibition will be on view from 4:30 pm on Thursday May 2 through graduation ceremonies on May 17. The exhibition is open to the public May 2 - 15; on May 16 and 17 the show is open to the Wellesley College community and the invited guests of graduating students only.
