BlueJazz Big Band: Fall Concert

A spirited evening of great jazz by the Wellesley BlueJazz Big Band.

Get ready to swing with Wellesley BlueJazz Big Band—a spirited concert of bold rhythms, soulful solos, and high-energy jazz classics. Directed by saxophonist Cercie Miller.

For their Fall Concert, the BlueJazz Big Band will perform new and classic jazz, including Duke Ellington’s “Harlem Airshaft,” the rousing “Better Get Hit in Your Soul” by Charles Mingus, Miles Davis’ “Blue in Green,” the gorgeous Jim McNeely vocal arrangement of Jobim’s “Corcovado,” and more!

The Wellesley BlueJazz Big Band Fall Concert will feature dynamic ensemble passages, big band shouts, and spirited solo breaks by Wellesley BlueJazz members.
