Cantata Singers: Stravinsky's Les Noces
Cantata Singers and The Percussion Collective unite in a program of innovative music for voices and percussion.
The Wellesley College Concert Series is proud to present Cantata Singers, one of Boston’s most acclaimed choral ensembles, directed by Noah Horn, in collaboration with The Percussion Collective, the groundbreaking professional ensemble founded by Robert Van Sice. This dynamic program features innovative works for voices and percussion, including Garth Neustadter’s Memory of Water, inspired by Emmi Itäranta’s novel, and a bold, electrifying performance of Stravinsky’s Les Noces—a visceral, rhythm-driven celebration of ritual, marriage, and modernism.
