Finding the Level closing reception
Join the Art Department for a closing reception to celebrate Finding the Level: the Spring 2026 Alice C. Cole '42 Studio Project Grant Exhibition. Meet alum artists Olivia Gorman '22 and Ry Watkins '23, talk to them about their art practices and the pieces on display here, have some snacks, and take one last look at these ambitious installations before they're gone!
Olivia Gorman is a Brookline, MA-based artist whose process-oriented drawing and sculptural work is an exploration of mark-making and labor. Ry Watkins is a New York-based artist whose multidisciplinary practice speaks to historical, cultural, and personal histories of Black America.
This reception is free and open to the public. Visitors driving to campus should park in the Davis Parking Facility near the Central St. entrance to campus and walk to Jewett from there; see campus map here: https://www.wellesley.edu/
