Ingrid Jensen has been hailed as one of the most gifted trumpeters of her generation - “as versatile as she is vigorous” (The New York Times). After graduating from Berklee College of Music, she launched an acclaimed international career, recording for ENJA Records and performing with ensembles led by Maria Schneider and Darcy James Argue.

Her projects with her sister, saxophonist Christine Jensen, include the Juno Award-winning Treelines and Habitat, as well as the celebrated album Infinitude.
An influential educator, Jensen has taught at the University of Michigan, Peabody Conservatory, and the Manhattan School of Music, where she now serves as Dean and Director of Jazz Arts. A 2019 Jazz Journalists Association “Trumpeter of the Year,” she continues to tour and record widely, both as a leader and as a member of the renowned Blue Note ensemble Artemis.
