Midday Muse: David Collins

David Collins, collaborative pianist, presents a recital of songs and chamber music by Ukrainian composers.

Immersed in the world of music with a Doctorate in Collaborative Piano from New England Conservatory, a Masters in Chamber Music from the University of Wisconsin, and a Bachelors in Music Composition from Western Michigan University, David Collins brings a passion for opera, art song, and chamber music to both his teaching and performance. He is on the faculty at Wellesley College's Music Department as a Lecturer in Music and one of the esteemed Collaborative Piano faculty.

His current research is in the music of Ukrainian composers, and this recital will feature their songs and chamber music as a tribute to the brave and resilient people of Ukraine.
