
Talk by acclaimed author Marie NDiaye
Marie NDiaye is a French author, playwright, and screenwriter. Over a career spanning four decades, she has published numerous novels, short stories, and plays, and has received several prestigious literary awards, including the 2001 Prix Femina for Rosie Carpe and the 2009 Prix Goncourt for Trois femmes puissantes (Three Strong Women). NDiaye also co-wrote the screenplay for director Alice Diop’s Saint Omer, winner of the Grand Jury Prize at the 2022 Venice Film Festival. She will be discussing her latest book, Le bon Denis (2025).
