Tender Instincts, the 2026 Thesis & Senior Exhibition, opens on Friday May 1 at 4:30 pm! Join the Art Department for a one hour reception to celebrate our graduating senior artists!

Featuring work by nearly 40 students representing over 20 different majors and minors, Tender Instincts showcases the skills of Wellesley College artists, including painting, ceramics, drawing, woodcarving, welding, printmaking of many kinds, bookmaking, papermaking, analog and digital photography, filmmaking, and so much more. Artwork will be on display in the Jewett Art Gallery, Jewett Hallway Galleries, Jewett Sculpture Court, Jewett Black Box, Jewett/PNW Bridge Alcove, and PNW 205.

The exhibition will be on view to the campus community from the opening through graduation ceremonies on May 15. Check back for public hours.
