The Summer Science Research Program provides students the opportunity to work alongside faculty.

“I think being able to conduct science research, particularly for psychology, but also for many other fields, is really centered around the human experience and being able to foster better understanding and also just improve people’s lives,” says Lauren Chen ’27, a cognitive and linguistic sciences major with a psychology concentration.

She was one of several Wellesley students who spent their summer on campus to participate in the Science Center Summer Research Program. The participants work with faculty on projects in a variety of disciplines. At the end of the program, which is open to all students regardless of research experience, they present their work during a poster session. Watch to learn more about this year’s program:
