In CS121: Intro to Game Design, Jordan Tynes, assistant teaching professor in computer science, teaches fundamentals of game design and development as well as what makes games fun and playable. “One of my goals is to create a safe space for experimentation and exploration so students who have no experience can try things,” says Tynes. “[T]hey end up developing their own sense of confidence in this very open-ended platform and process.”
