Wellesley Makes Way for Ducklings on Second Annual Duck Day

What’s up with the ducks?  The Office of Student Involvement and the Wellness Outreach Committee surprised Wellesley students by scattering hundreds of candy-filled plastic ducks across campus.

The Office of Student Involvement in collaboration with the Wellness Outreach Committee surprised the Wellesley community May 9 with its second annual Duck Day, also known as Quack Attack. For the event, which takes place on an unannounced date in the spring, the Office of Student Involvement scatters plastic ducks filled with candy and prizes around the campus and deposits several large blow-up ducks on Chapel Lawn, Severance Green, and the Academic Quad.

Students spent the morning collecting ducks and taking photos as they went about their day—a much-appreciated break as they head into finals next week.
