I have focused my career on teaching and motivating others to achieve their best level of health and wellness. I help others find the joy and empowerment in exercise, whether through yoga, personal training, coaching, dance, or Pilates. Seeing others achieve their fitness and weight loss goals; improve posture, strength, and flexibility; reduce stress; reduce pain; and increase their abilities overall is very rewarding. Seeing others grow in confidence and accomplish things they had not known they could is amazing. I am fortunate to have a career that allows me to help others improve the quality of their lives in so many ways.
I have completed two marathons. I coach runners and walkers to complete events for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. I teach yoga to large and small groups as well as to individuals.
I enjoy reading, movies, hiking, and being near or in the water. I appreciate and enjoy time spent with family and friends. I love cheering my two daughters on at their athletic events.

Yoga focuses on the integration of the breath and mindfulness with postures or asanas. The postures may be linked in a flowing manner or may be held for several breaths. Upon completion of the class, a student will be able to execute many postures and breathing techniques that work together with alignment, clarity of mind and relaxation. Increased student awareness of their physical strengths and challenges will be identified to achieve improved balance, stability, flexibility, strength and focus.
