Patricia Birch
Assistant Dean of Intercultural Education
Patti Birch (she/her) has been the Assistant Dean for Intercultural Education at Wellesley College since Spring 2021. She leads programs that help students learn from different cultures and has over ten years of experience in student affairs, academic advising, social work, and career development.
Before coming to Wellesley, Patti led inclusion programs at Framingham State University and held leadership roles in Social Work and Residential Life at Boston College. She taught field seminar classes, trained field supervisors, and managed professional staff for a large undergraduate residential area.
Patti holds an MBA from Assumption University and an MSW from the University of Michigan, and is currently pursuing a doctorate in Higher Education at Azusa Pacific University.
