Meade 8-in Schmidt-Cassegrain Telescopes
Whitin has six 8-in Meade LX-200 “classic” Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes. When in use the telescopes are mounted on fixed outdoor piers fitted with equatorial wedges, suitable for imaging as well as for visual observing. The 8-in telescopes are used primarily by students in the introductory astronomy laboratory subjects.
