For the first half of my Wellesley career, I worked as a sergeant with the Campus Police Department. In September of 2002, the movie Mona Lisa Smile was being filmed on campus. A lot of people on campus were involved in the filming as extras in scenes, production assistants, and other roles. Campus Police was present on all sets for crowd control, emergency services, etc. It was fascinating to learn about the movie business and to see how the whole process worked. But the best story about my experience with the movie was that on the second day of shooting, I met one of the location scouts outside of the chapel. We have been married now for almost twenty years.
