Admission and tours are free for everyone

The Outdoor Botanic Gardens are free and open to the public.

The 22-acre outdoor gardens are always open - year-round, every day, all day. Visitor maps are available outside the WCBG Visitor Center. Enter at Paramecium Pond from College Road, or along Central Street. Dogs must be leashed.

The WCBG Visitor Center and Global Flora greenhouse are free and open to the public, during staffed hours (see below). The Visitor Center has wheelchair-accessible restrooms, water fountains, and a changing station.

The Global Flora greenhouse paths are wheelchair/stroller-accessible. Service animals allowed.

Note: Parking is very limited on weekdays near the WCBG Visitor Center, due to nearby construction. See parking options.

Visitor center & greenhouse open hours

May 2024 hours

There are no weekly public hours in May due to campus events and ongoing construction. Global Flora and the WCBG Visitor Center are open during May for campus access Tuesdays through Fridays 10am - 4pm (swipe required), and for the following special events:

Senior week - May 13, 11am - 2pm (tours)
Commencement - May 16 & 17, 10am - 6pm (open hours)
Reunion - May 24, 1-5pm; May 25, 9am - 5pm; May 26, 9am - 1pm, with tours on Fri 1:30pm (Global Flora), Sat 2pm (Arboretum), and Sat 3:15pm (Edible Ecosystem).

Summer public hours

Starting June 9, Global Flora will be free and open to the public every Sunday 10am - 3pm, except holiday weekends.

May: closed May 1-May 31 except for campus events (Senior week, Commencement, Reunion)

September: closed Sept 1 (Labor Day holiday)
October: closed Oct 13 (Indigenous Peoples Day)
November: closed Nov 27-30 (Thanksgiving break)
