Educator Workshops

The Davis Museum offers customized K-12 school group gallery experiences during weekday open hours, Tuesday through Friday from 11 AM to 5 PM. Our museum education staff and specially-trained Student Guides engage students with the Davis’s distinctive permanent collections and its special temporary exhibitions through exciting dialogue-based and participatory experiences. Programs are free with advance registration (at least 2 weeks notice).

Gallery experiences are customized according to your curriculum, and cover either special exhibitions or the permanent collections.  Pre- and post-visit activities may be planned upon request. Please see our Guidelines for Visiting School Groups and Chaperone Guidelines. To schedule your visit or to request more information, please contact Arthurina Fears, Manager of Museum Education and Programs at afears@wellesley.edu.

Please include the following in your email:

  • Your name and subject area
  • School or institution
  • Grade level/age group
  • Number of students

Educators are encouraged to apply for our School Bus Subsidy, generously funded by the Palley Endowment Fund for Davis Museum Outreach Programs.
