Wellesley Gathers to Share a Moment in U.S. History

Politics aside, the Wellesley community expressed pride as one of its own hammered with full force at the nation's highest glass ceiling. Many alumnae traveled to campus to share this historic moment with students, faculty, and staff. From the time Hillary Rodham Clinton ’69 was introduced to the spotlight as the first student commencement speaker at Wellesley, through her campaign as the first female presidential candidate of a major party, Wellesley has been watching.
