Doug Johnson

Doug is an Associate Professor at Berklee College of Music.
In addition to being on the faculty at Wellesley College, Doug Johnson is Associate Professor of Piano at the Berklee College of music. As a performer Doug has performed with Esperanza Spalding, Luciana Souza, the Grace Kelly Quintet, Terry Lynne Carrington, Phil Woods and also with his trio. Doug has performed nationally and internationally including performances in London, Paris, Berlin, Vienna, Madrid, Barcelona, Copenhagen and Warsaw. Performances in North America include Montreal, Toronto, Boston, Los Angeles and New York and such venues as the Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center and the Newport Jazz Festival.
Doug has done workshops at the Vienna Conservatory, the Vienna Music Institute and the Krakow Jazz Academy.
His trio CD March of Time was released in Vienna in 2008. His latest trio CD is Live at the Royal Garden.
