Anna Rios ’01, doing it anyway
- Alumnae
At first, fear. Of bland food. Of cold, snowy winters. Of being away from home for the first time. Her mother said: “Feel the fear. Do it anyway.” At Wellesley, she majored in religion and Spanish literature. She joined Mezcla (#8), the Latine student org. She interned at Morgan Stanley, then landed a job on Wall Street. She turned it down, moved home, and started as an assistant at Univision. Now she’s the head of Latin American, Canadian, Australian, and New Zealand Consumer Insights at Amazon Studios. That’s called doing it anyway.
