Barbara Elfman DS ’05

Wellesley was the place I finally was able to obtain a BA. I was a Davis Scholar and went back to school at 40 with three children (8, 11, and 14), husband, house and dog to take care of. My family was incredibly supportive, only asking that I try to graduate before our oldest started college. I went to school year round for four years. In 2005 I graduated at 10:00 am, hugging President Walsh as I received my diploma in art history. My daughter graduated at 1:00 pm from high school the very same day. I did it!
