Sandra Kulli ’68
- 1960s

In 1964, Judy Harte and I both came to Wellesley from Phoenix. Senior year we were in the Tree Day Court. We turned the ceremony on its head, with Judy swinging out of a tree to the throne! We made such fun of it, 1968 was the last year the Tree Day Court was held. Just like Judy launching out of that tree, a great launch into our lives followed.
Judy is a physicist and I’m a teacher. To celebrate my 75th birthday, we gathered at Rolling Greens in the Arts District in LA. This photo shows Judy and me and all the Wellesley women at the party, including my niece Jennifer Taylor ’91, my sister Jolinda Kulli Taylor ’66, my granddaughter Michelle Geller ’21, and our friend Sarah Ingersoll ’63.
From rule breakers in college to breakthrough discoveries in all that followed, we’ve had a friendship for the ages.
