How your gift makes a difference:
Your contribution to the Friends of Wellesley College Botanic Gardens helps us:
- Offer free admissions and a rich variety of public programs, workshops, classes, tours and field trips
- Train our student and volunteer docents who lead free guided tours for all ages
- Strengthen the Botanic Gardens' plant and garden diversity
- Create educational displays, media, and resources for visitors
- Encourage interest in plants and the environment using the resources of the Botanic Gardens
- Fund student employment and internship programs that enrich students' knowledge and provide vital assistance to staff.
- Host College events for prospective and current students, alumnae, faculty, and staff
- Support initiatives that promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice throughout the gardens
- Support sustainability initiatives including going all-electric with our landscape equipment/vehicles!
- Funds student research grants, course-related field trips, books, and more!
- Please note: We discontinued participation in the AHS Reciprocal Admissions program in 2020, and therefore this is not a current benefit. Thanks for your understanding. We offer free admission to all who visit Wellesley College Botanic Gardens, and encourage your support of other gardens.
