Makayla Almonte (she/her) is a member of the class of 2024 studying International Relations-Political Science. She is involved with Wellesley for the Abolition of Militarism and Incarceration (WAMI), Wellesley for Caribbean Development (WiCkeD), Raiz, and Pep Squad. Fun fact, Makayla has a twin sister! If she could offer any advice to fellow students, she would make sure students knew the community that you find in cultural spaces like Harambee House and Acorns is amazing and so supportive.
