The Geosciences department is located within the L- and E-wings of the Wellesley College Science Center, which is a newly renovated space that opened in 2022. Our research and teaching facilities occupy several rooms in the science center and host our faculty and staff offices, teaching and research labs, and field equipment storage, world-class mineral and fossil collection, lapidary lab, and student lounge. Our analytical facilities are integrated across our curriculum, allowing geoscience students the opportunity to gain experience in operation and application of a variety of analytical techniques.
