Oh my! I have so many fond Wellesley memories. They began from the first day I attended spring open campus in 1999 to the present. The friendships I made with my classmates, faculty, and staff alike are timeless. Yet, I have to say one of my fondest memories was attending President Johnson's inauguration. As an African American alum, it was amazing to witness the inauguration of Wellesley's first African American college president. It is Wellesley's diversity that makes it special, and Paula Johnson's appointment as college president is indicative of that commitment. Being with friends celebrating that momentous occasion is one I will always remember and cherish.
