Reunion giving is the cornerstone of The Wellesley Fund and a time-honored College tradition. Each year, between 15 and 20 percent of Wellesley Fund dollars are raised from reunion classes. A generous gift in honor of your reunion will help make the Wellesley experience as unique and meaningful for today’s students as it was for you.

We invite you to become actively involved in supporting Wellesley by not only giving a reunion gift, but by volunteering with your classmates to encourage others to give as well. Your gift and your involvement will provide support to Wellesley on a day to day basis, enabling the College to be flexible in meeting the educational and extracurricular needs of our students.

Your reunion is a time to become reacquainted with the College, renew friendships, and celebrate the Wellesley community. Join us by becoming a member of your reunion committee—and help make a difference in the lives of current students! To get involved, or for more information, please contact us at giving@wellesley.edu.

Friendly Competition

New reunion philanthropy awards

We are building on the tradition of friendly competition with the creation of new fundraising awards to be presented at the Wellesley College Alumnae Association Annual Meeting during reunion weekend.

5th Reunion Cup: awarded to the 5th reunion class that secures 250 or more donors.
25th Reunion Cup: awarded to the 25th reunion class that surpasses the College record for the largest number of Durant donors for five years of giving (year after the last reunion to the current reunion).
50th Reunion Cup: awarded to the 50th reunion class that surpasses that College record for giving (year after the last reunion to the current reunion) to any aspect of the College since the last reunion.
Wellesley Fund Cup: awarded to the reunion class that achieves the largest increase in Wellesley Fund giving since the last reunion.
In addition, we will continue to award the Participation Cup, which is given to the reunion class with the largest giving participation in their reunion year.
