The Wellesley Fund

The Critical Role of Annual Giving

You know how much your life after Wellesley has been enriched by your experiences here: the inspiring professors, rigorous academics, meaningful relationships, supportive community, and beautiful campus environment that prepared you to make a difference in the world. The Wellesley Fund provides the critical and flexible funds that can be used to address urgent needs and seize unique opporutnities to make that same foundation available to young scholars today.

Here's how your gift to The Wellesley Fund goes to work immediately to help the College and our students:

  • Supports robust financial aid so that we can meet 100 percent of calculated financial need for promising students from all social and economic backgrounds.
  • Furthers our mission to achieve true excellence in liberal arts education through innovative teaching and research.
  • Updates our learning facilities to maintain state-of-the-art standards.
  • Keeps our campus beautiful and inspiring.
  • Addresses the unique challenges of meeting our mission during a global pandemic.

Reunion Giving

Reunion giving is the foundation of The Wellesley Fund, with reunion classes contributing between 15 and 20 percent of the fund's annual dollars. Reunion gifts are a meaningful way to honor the friendships, learning, and community that made up your unique experience at Wellesley, ensuring that the students of today and tomorrow will benefit from all Wellesley has to offer, just as you did.
