Susan Rappaport Knafel '52 Scholarship for Foreign Study – up to $36,000 The scholarship will be awarded to a member of the Wellesley graduating class who displays a desire for learning and an ability to impart knowledge and judgment to others. Elisabeth Luce Moore '24 Wellesley-Yenching Program - campus deadline

Eligible: graduating seniors and alumnae in all fields.

The Elisabeth Luce Moore '24 Wellesley-Yenching Fellowships are open to graduating seniors and alumnae in all majors and may include some training in teaching English as a second language. Chinese language proficiency is only required for the National Palace Museum Fellowship (unfortunately, due to visa restrictions, the Fellowship at the NPM is not open to citizens of mainland China). Mary Elvira Stevens Traveling Fellowship - campus deadline

Eligible: a Wellesley graduate who is at least 25 years of age in the calendar year of application.

The Mary Elvira Stevens Traveling Fellowship was established by the will of Alice Alvira Stevens, Class of 1891. The will states that "preference shall be given to persons with good temper and a natural generosity of view when confronted with alien conditions, common sense in observing and comprehending social, economic, and political situations, a strong desire to travel, and a deep love of beauty."

NIH Undergraduate Scholarship Program - direct application deadline

Eligible: undergraduate students who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents who have ‘exceptional financial need,’ as certified by the student’s undergraduate institution’s financial aid office.

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Undergraduate Scholarship Program (UGSP) offers competitive scholarships to students from disadvantaged backgrounds who are committed to careers in biomedical, behavioral, and social science health-related research. The program offers scholarship support, paid research training at the NIH during the summer, and paid employment and training at the NIH after graduation.

Samvid Scholars - direct application deadline

Eligibility: applicants must be U.S. citizens or DACA recipients with an undergraduate GPA of 3.5 or higher and planning to begin a full-time eligible degree program at a U.S. university in the academic year following application. Eligible degree programs are 2 years or longer, and one of the following: MD, MBA, JD, MPP/MPA, MPH, MS/MA in the social sciences or STEM. (PhD programs are not eligible.)
