Paulson Place Challenge Student Researcher
Hi everyone! I am a member of the Class of 2021 majoring in Environmental Studies and minoring in Economics. I am from Roxbury, MA but my favorite places on campus are the Global Flora Greenhouse and Tupelo's Point. I identify as a Haitian-Bajan Caribbean-American. After undergrad, I aspire to do research in coral reef and terrestrial reforestation and work alongside communities in the Caribbean. I've enjoyed many ES interdepartmental courses at Wellesley, so feel free to reach out for suggestions! Throughout my time at Wellesley, I have been an active member in Harambee House orgs (Wellesley for Caribbean Development and Ethos) and as a committed staff member, a member of Archery Club, a student helper/participant of WESI, a coordinator for WellesleyConnect, Co-President and Drum Captain of Yanvalou, a member of the Widows, a McNair Scholar, an Albright Fellow, a Frost Center for the Environment Student Ambassador, and a member of the Xi Tau Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Some fun facts about me are that I love exploring, hiking, growing succulents that I call my plant babies, and photographing interesting plants and other nature. I also really enjoy connecting with my friends and meeting new people!
