Galina (Gazizullina) Paquette

Language Assistant

I was born and raised in Yekaterinburg, Russia. I graduated from Pedagogical University with a major in teaching English as a second language in 2014. After my graduation, I worked as an ESL teacher for several years.

In 2016 I received the Fulbright grant and taught Russian at Brandeis University in Waltham, MA. It helped me rediscover my passion for teaching and creating interesting materials to help my students master the language. After that, I worked as an ESL lessons author, which allowed me to combine my love for teaching and my yearning for creativity.

I live in Massachusetts now and I’m excited to be part of the Wellesley College Russian Department team.
