Study Abroad

Students are encouraged to spend time in Russia and Eurasia to deepen their understanding of the region.

There are many opportunities to study in Russia and Eurasia to deepen your understanding of the region.

There are two programs led by Wellesley College faculty:

Lake Baikal: The Soul of Siberia (RAST/ES 212)

• Wintersession in Moscow (RUSS 203W/303W)

We also support study abroad through the following outside programs:

Middlebury-in-Russia

Bard-Smolny

Wellesley also offers a study abroad in Moscow (taught in English!) for math majors: http://www.mccme.ru/mathinmoscow/

Russian Area Studies students might also be interested in preapproved programs in Krakow Poland with API or a program Prague with either CIEE at Charles University or with CET and their program Jewish Studies program.

Students interested in studying abroad should contact the Office of International Studies at Wellesley College for more information.
