Summer Research 2020

UPDATE: April 13, 2020

The Science Summer Research Program will take place in a modified format during Summer 2020.

As a result of the coronavirus pandemic, Summer Research 2020 will be a 6-week, remote-only program.

Students will work with faculty mentors on a variety of research projects and will present their results at a virtual poster session at the end of the program.

The program is open only to Wellesley students who will continue in Fall semester 2020.

What are the dates of the summer program?

The program will be 6 weeks in length, but specific start and end dates are yet to be determined.  Please check back soon for additional details.

When will I know if I am accepted to the program?

We are working on acceptance letters and hope to have these out before the end of April.

How much will I be paid?

Participating students will receive a $3000 stipend upon completion of the program (6 weeks of research work and completing the virtual poster session and program assessment surveys).

Can I work on campus with my faculty mentor?

No, the College has decided that there will be no on-site participation this year because of uncertainties related to the coronavirus pandemic.
