Welcome back to Wellesley!
As many of you may be discovering, coming home can involve an adjustment similar to what you went through when you went away. Because this is your final year at Wellesley, many of you will feel pressed to read just instantly and to fit back in as quickly as possible, but re-entry is a process, and you need to allow yourself some time. In order to welcome you back and give you an early forum in which to discuss your experiences abroad and your feelings about being back, Jennifer Thomas-Starck, Director of International Study, is planning a Welcome Back Dinner on Monday, September 18 at 6:00 pm in Slater. There will also be a Sad Hour at Punch’s Alley on Tuesday, October 24 at 8:00 pm. Watch for email from the OIS about these and other events.
