Participants may compete solo or in relay teams of two (kayaker/runner).  Secure your spot today! Registration will close on Saturday 9/25 at 6pm.

Race Logistics:

Competitors will kayak first before setting out on the running portion, and will start in heats of 15 racers, every 10-15' minutes. Competitors will receive their start times in advance of race day. All boating equipment (lifejacket, paddle, boat) will be provided at Butler Boathouse. Participants will be timed from their launch in the water to when they cross the finish line (transition time from kayak to run will be counted). The kayaking course will be a loop, around buoys in a counterclockwise direction. The running course will be marked with either flagging tape or spray paint.

Safety:

All participants will wear issued, correctly fitted PFDs while on the water. There will be two lifeguards stationed on the water in motorized launches, and one stationed on the dock near the launching area. First aid equipment and an AED are inside the boathouse. Participants will be encouraged to bring their own water, and appropriate footwear for running.
