Student Travel and Research Opportunities
Grants are available to students who are doing 250, 350, 360, or 370 work. The application form contains more guidelines relating to the awards*. As of March 2019, Provost Office funds to support Student Travel & Research Grants have been exhausted for the remainder of the 2018-19 academic year.
Science students should apply for conference travel funds through the Science Center (For science students, travel funds from the Provost's Office are managed by the Science Center).
Other student grants include early research opportunities in natural and social science, available for sophomores; the Summer Social Science Program; the Quantitative Analysis Institute (QAI) Summer Program, the Pamela Daniels '59 Fellowship, the Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellowship Program and the McNair Scholars Program.
*Since our resources for student research and travel are limited, we cannot provide additional funding to Schiff and Daniels awardees.
