Videoconferencing Hardware

In the fall of 2021, Library and Technology Services purchased several Meeting Owl Pros for use by administrative departments needing to hold 'hybrid' meetings, i.e., with both in-person and remote participants. These units have 360-degree cameras that zoom in automatically on the person who is speaking, built-in mics with an 18-foot audio pickup radius; and speakers. They are currently installed in Clapp Library 244, 336, and 209; Schneider 234; and the Physical Plant Conference Room. These spaces are reservable through 25Live. Note that you must bring a laptop to the room to use a Meeting Owl Pro.

For more information on using the Meeting Owl Pros with Zoom, please see the Google Doc on Hybrid Zoom Meeting Instructions.
