College-owned Lenovo computers use Multimedia Center For Think Offerings to burn CDs/DVDs.

Note: To burn CDs/DVDs on college-owned Gateway computers use Nero Express .

Using the Multimedia Center for Think Offerings, you can do the following:

Burning CDs/DVDs

  • If the Sonic Product Registration window pops up, select Register Later .



  • The Multimedia Center Quick Start Home window will open up. Click Data Disc in the Quick Links section of the window.



  • The display will change to show the Data Disc window. Click the Add Data button or drag files from Windows Explorer into the window to select the files or folders to be burned onto your CD or DVD.
  • Once you have selected all the files and folders that you would like to copy, insert a writeable or rewriteable CD or DVD into the CD or DVD drive.
  • Click the red button (located in the bottom right corner of the Multimedia Center window) to copy your selected files and folders onto your CD or DVD.
  • Once the process is complete, the window will display a message saying that the disc was created successfully. Click Done to return to your project or click the close button to exit.




Steps for burning a music CD

  • Open Multimedia Center by going to the Start Menu > All Programs > Multimedia Center For Think Offerings > Multimedia Center Home .
  • From the Multimedia Center Quick Start Home window, click Audio CD in the Quick Links section of the window.
  • The display will change to show the Audio CD for Car or Home CD Player window. Click the Add Music button or drag files from Windows Explorer into the window to select the music files to be burned onto your CD.
  • Once you have selected all the files that you would like to copy, insert a blank, writeable or rewriteable CD into the CD drive.
  • Click the red Copy button.
  • Once the process is complete, the window will display a message saying that the disc was created successfully. Click Done to return to your project or click the Close button to exit.

Copying CDs or DVDs

  • Open Multimedia Center by going to the Start Menu > All Programs > Multimedia Center For Think Offerings > Multimedia Center Home .
  • Click Copy in the left panel of the Multimedia Center For Think Offerings window.
  • In the Copy Guide window, click Disc Copy
  • Insert the disc you wish to copy.
  • Click the red Copy button.
  • When the copy is complete, a window will pop up requesting you to insert a blank or rewritable disc into the CD or DVD drive. Insert a blank or rewritable CD or DVD.
  • The files and folders from the first disc will automatically be copied to the new CD that you insert.
  • Once the burn is complete, the window will display a message saying that the disc was created successfully. Click Done to return to your project, click Make Another to make another copy of your disc, or click the Close button to exit.

Rewriting CDs or DVDs

  • Open Multimedia Center by going to the Start Menu > All Programs > Multimedia Center For Think Offerings > Multimedia Center Home .
  • Click Tools in the left panel of the Multimedia Center For Think Offerings window.
  • Click Erase Disc in the Tools sub-panel.
  • Insert a CD or DVD-RW in the recordable/rewritable CD or DVD drive.
  • Select either Quick Erase or Full Erase.
  • Click the red Erase Disc button.
